DOWNLOADING AND COMPS

The images on this site may be downloaded ONLY to make comprehensive layouts "comps". It is illegal to copy or reproduce these images for any other purpose including use on other web sites, or for reference for another photograph or illustration. See our terms of use for specifics.

AlaskaStock offers two sizes of comp size images--- low res and higher res. Low res are available to any user of the site. Higher-res are available only to those who are registered users and have been approved by AlaskaStock. If you wish to have access to high-res images, please contact us and we will adjust your account to be able to download higher-res comps.

To download low-res comp size images: Just click on the thumbnail image or the magnifier . The preview size and more information will come up. YOU MAY NOT HAVE POP-UP'S BLOCKED IN ORDER TO SEE PREVIEWS. Then to save the image:

PC users: Right mouse click and go to "save image as" and save it in a directory on your computer or floppy disk.

MAC users: Mouse click the image and hold. Select "Download Image to Disk" and save it in a directory on your computer or floppy disk. 512 MB RAM or greater (Windows 2000 or MAC OS10) 17" monitor or greater Monitor resolution set to 1024 x 762 up to 1152 x 870 using Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari with Broadband Access.

To download higher quality comp size images, you must sign in. When you find the image you want, double click on it to get the "preview size image" then: Choose "download higher quality comp" from options listed to right of preview image. If you do not see this option please contact us and we will adjust your account to be able to download higher-res comps. A new window will pop up, YOU MUST NOT HAVE POP-UP'S BLOCKED IN ORDER TO SEE PREVIEWS. then:
